Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is believed to be among the top gymnasts. Being an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles is the only person to have three consecutive world championships. Biles along with the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 in the elite section of competition. Within two years she had dominated this discipline. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of effort for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her apart.
