Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known in the world of pop music, is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where together with his three classmates, he formed his own band, White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. Although he has always expressed an interest in the world of music however, despite his love in it, he also wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer and an physiotherapist. He was employed in the local bakery for a few hours to help his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they made it to the finalist. Despite this, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
