Sofia and Ann

The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old. She was raised within Orange County. Her graduation was in the University of California, San Diego in 2015, when she also got her breakthrough in acting. Pernas has made small appearances in NCIS and Leverage before landing the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless she was a regular face on the soap opera. After a break from the soap-opera she was offered a job as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The model, who is fluent in four different languages, has been seen since appearing on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also was on the show Secret Society of Second Born Royals. The actress played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from the year 2019 until 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began shortly after the This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November 2019. Pernas Hartley as well as Pernas Hartley were secretly married at a private ceremony, which broke out in May of 2021.
