Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the previous frontwoman of metalcore band The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish music group, melodic Death Metal Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st in 1985) is a Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous as the vocalist in charge of the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of The Agonist, a Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) are part of her style of singing. The majority of her work is associated with the genres of metalcore and melodic Death, but has also performed together with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz (2004-2014). The year was 2004 and, White-Gluz and fellow members Danny Marino, Chris Kells together formed the band The Agonist with Chris Kells and Danny Marino in Montreal, Quebec. The group released three albums, with The Agonist, as their primary vocalist.White-Gluz was let go of the Agonist at the beginning of 2014 after she was offered the position of vocalist with Arch Enemy.
